(더파워뉴스=민진 기자) Dreamcos Co., Ltd., a cosmetics export company led by CEO Kang Ho-min, has been selected for the ‘2025 Global Small Giant 1000+ Project,’ a major initiative led by South Korea’s Ministry of SMEs and Startups and the Korea SMEs and Startups Agency. The company was chosen for the highest tier of the program, known as the ‘Small Giant+’ group.
The ‘2025 Global Small Giant 1000+ Project’ is a flagship government program aimed at fostering small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) with strong export capabilities into leading global exporters. Approximately 700 newly selected companies were selected in 2025, categorized into groups based on their annual export performance. Dreamcos, having recorded over USD 10 million in exports, was included in the elite ‘Small Giant+’ group, which comprises only about 160 companies.
In 2024, Dreamcos achieved remarkable results, exporting USD 10.5 million through its global network based in Shanghai, Guangzhou, Hong Kong, and Vietnam, alongside a data-driven marketing strategy. The driving force behind this achievement was the success of its in-house brand, Lovely CC. The brand saw explosive growth in markets like Vietnam—selling over 100,000 units of its pink tone-up sun serum—and China, where its sweet lip oil surpassed 50,000 units in sales. Within just four months, the brand achieved a 727% export growth rate.
Further strengthening its global portfolio, Dreamcos recently signed an exclusive global distribution agreement with General Brands for two of its flagship cosmetic lines: DUFT&DOFT and NOLIE. Through this partnership, Dreamcos will leverage its robust international sales network and marketing infrastructure to expand these brands across Southeast Asia and beyond, enhancing their global visibility and sales.
“This recognition as a Global Small Giant marks Dreamcos’s evolution from a simple exporter to a true global brand accelerator,” said CEO Kang Ho-min. “We will continue to reinforce the competitiveness of K-beauty through the launch of a flagship store in Vietnam, entry into new markets such as the United States and Japan, and the development of our distribution business for emerging brands.”
As part of the program, Dreamcos will receive government support in areas such as export financing, overseas marketing, and R&D, solidifying its role as a model for small business growth in global markets.
