엔비디아, 세계 최초 시총 4조 달러 ‘터치’

[더파워 이경호 기자]미국 인공지능(AI) 반도체 기업 엔비디아가 세계 상장사 중 처음으로 시가총액 4조 달러(약 5,500조 원)를 넘어서며 글로벌 증시 역사의 한 페이지를 새로 썼다.9일(현지시간) 뉴욕증시에서 엔비디아 주가는 장중 한때 전일 대비 2.5% 오른 164.42달러까지 오르며 시총 4조169억 달러를 기록했다. 종가는 상승폭이 다소 줄어든 162.88달러(전일 대비 1.8% 상승)에 마감하며 시총 3조9,720억 달러로 거래를 마쳤다. 비록 마감 기준 4조 달러선을 지키진 못했지만, 장중 4조 달러를 넘어선 것은 사상 처음이다.엔비디아는 애플, 마이크로소프트(MS)를 제치고 인류 역사상 최초로 시총 4조 달러 고지를 밟은 기업으로 기록됐다.
