3. Taeyeon (태연)
Taeyeon from SNSD came back again as a solo since six months, with her third mini album <Something New>. The title song has same name, showing her new horizon of musical abilities. This song is based on 'urban pop genre' with a touch of 'Neo Soul', which is her first attempt, and all the instruments were carefully placed to express the feeling of live hall. It's also interesting to find lyrics with hopeful messages, like trying to find each one's characteristics in this colorless modern society.

1. BTS perform 'Fake Love' on <Corden Show> and celebrates fifth anniversary of debut
BTS showed their last live performance of this album period at ‘Corden Show’, showing their top high popularity, followed by Corden's introduction of BTS as ‘World's hottest boy band’. The next day of their starring, May 13th, was also their fifth anniversary of debut. <Produce 48>, a survival program that got controversial before the first show, have cutted the ribbon at May 15th. <Produce 48> is a combination of Korean <Produce 101> system that elects members for idol debut, and Japanese ‘AKB48’ system with Yasushi Akimoto, one of the best producers in Japan. This program is gathering a lot of positive expectations for being able to survive solely on the viewer's vote, to widespread the format of Produce series. There are controversies too, nevertheless, since members from AKB48 have performed with rising sun design in their costume and sung Kimigayo during their concerts, making Korean fans extremely sensitive.
